  1. Did you read Garry Conn’s post on increasing blog traffic :). Seems like your ideas are from there. And they are excellent ones :).

I followed his advice too, I hope it pays off, his ideas are excellent and to the point.

  2. John – Yes I read Garry’s blog daily, and he does have great ideas and insight. And a lot of what I do is derived directly from those.

  3. @ David,

    You are too modest! 🙂

    @ John,

What David is failing to tell you is that together we partner and collaborate on many ideas together. More than half of my material I use and write about are sourced back to daily phone conversations that David and I have.

We have a very close friendship and very tight business relationship together. David plays a huge roll in my success and I feel I do the same for him. We have been working together since July. I trust David with the keys to my brain. I trust David with the keys to my ideas. And, I have no doubt in my mind that he feels the same.

It is real funny how timing works. It was just yesterday on ShoeMoney where active guest blogger, Neil Patel wrote post that describes our partnership to a “T”.

  4. Garry – See, you blogger, me technical, lol. I guess I did not define that clearly. And the post on ShoeMoney does clarify it to a “T”.

  5. I like the changes you’ve made David, I’m sure they’ll benefit the site and should help increase your traffic! – I’m trying to increase my traffic too, so I know what you’re going through!

Look forward to your future posts, if there’s anything I can do to help, give me a shout!

  6. Hey remember me… lol, yea Im still around. So I have been reading a lot between you and Garry and as you know I soak it all in. I can see a definite change in direction. Partnering with Garry seems to have streamlined your blogging. Im seeing a lot of good things coming out of the Cybercoder camp… keep it coming…

  7. Fair enough now I understand.

I envy you guys, it must help a lot to have someone in the biz to bounce ideas off while being able to trust them not to rip you off :).

Pretty damn cool if you ask me.

  8. Curious, have ya heard from Scratchback yet? I know mine is very hard to read as well, granted right now I don’t have any sold but I’d like them to show up when they do.

hehe, on the radio show today you mentioned someone told Garry to quit changing things. Ummm, man I hope that wasn’t me, I was joking with him one day….I went to one of his sites and almost left as I thought I’d been to the wrong one. lol. But I agree, ya must change it up in order to figure things out.

  9. -John, glad we got that cleared up. I think anyone can do what we do, it just takes a little effort and to remember it is a 2 way street.
-homemom3, Yes, I did hear back from Jim @ ScratchBack, he is working on it, however, we did agree that I should be able to do a simple CSS overide in the meantime. Once I do that I will be sure to pass the info on so anyone else with this situation can solve the problem also. Don’t worry about Garry, when I broke my toe last night, he told me just to cut it off and keep working!!

  10. Yeah – would be intersting to see how the ‘donate’ thing goes. Obviously people must make something from it otherwise they wouldn’t use it – but it’d be cool to see how effective they are.

  11. Ya know, David, I’ve always liked sites with a black background (1st theme I fell in love with was MacFire). I always shied away from them because I was told they were hard on the eyes and people click off. But this site is easy to read, even for my ‘mature’ eyes. Everything looks crisp and clear. Nice work!

  12. Hiya, i have seen your site when searching a few weeks ago and i really love the design! I just bought a new 3 character domain (cost me a packet) for a niche review blog, and i was wondering if your design is a free or paid one? I’m new to WordPress and about to set it up, and i would really like to get something with a similar look to yours. Any ideas where i could download or buy something similar? Thanks for your help! 🙂
