Matthew, if more people would do just a little work on their own like you, they would probably have more success and understanding. Getting great results is really not that hard.

Now with personalized search on Google – even critical search terms don’t necessary lead to a result on the first page. I did a little SEO research and reading on my own and was able to get my page ranked pretty high.

I’m not an expert, just a guy in business with a need for customers.

Pennies, lol, the price in the email said the minimum charge was a $500 per month subscription. Ouch!

Nicola, The best place to refer anyone for this is straight to the Google Webmaster Help Center, Google clearly states "Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings"

thanks for the note… there are many clients of mine who are receiving those kind of messages, and usually they ask me if could be good to purchase a similar service…. i would just know HOW to convince them that it is pretty impossible to get that “guaranteed” option……
