Congrats on the move man. Moving far? The Harmony remotes are awesome. We carry them at work and I play with them every day. If you need any help with any of them let me know. I can hook you up with some experts.
Also as for wireless networking, your “best” option right, if you plan to buy a new, faster, more secure router is the Linksys WRT600N. Its great.

Hey Don, I will certainly check out the “Theatre Master” since I know you to be a master yourself of the gadgets in the home!

I currently use a cheap store bought universal remote that actually does a pretty good job, but like you, the gadget factor is really getting to me, lol.

Congrats on the move – actually congrats on the post-move — the move itself can be a real pain.

I’ve done several universal remotes — I’m mostly drawn to the “gadget factor” — more often than not, once the gadget appeal wears off I find them more trouble than they are worth. My favorite so far is the “Theatre Master” line (mine’s the MX800)
The Harmondy 1000 is very interesting and the gadget factor is again drawing me in!
