Twhirl
After trying Digsby for a week, I have now downloaded and installed Twhirl. Digsby had more options for other social sites like Facebook and MySpace, but it was extremly slow.
So far Twhirl has met my expectations of what I wanted in a 3rd party Twitter client. It is customizable and loads quickly. I will continue [...]
Online Income
Seems everyone wants the answer to the instant online income question.
After spending the last 20 years online in one form or another I can honestly say that there has never been another time that allowed us to make money so easy as there is right now on the Internet. Now having said that, I [...]
Video Blogs
Is 2008 going to be the breakout year for Video Blogs?
Video Blogs are also referred to as Vlogs, although I am not sure that rolls off the tongue as well as Blogs, and they have been gaining ground over the past year or so. Two big factors fueling this are the cost of digital video [...]
Update to YouTube and Adsense Video Units
Here it is, we finally have a working YouTube player with Google Adsense Video Units.
Link : YouTube Videos
There are a lot of limitations to what videos you will can currently play with this setup.
Basically it is either contextual or based on a YouTube category. It will be interesting to see how this progresses. I [...]
Google Adsense Video Units & YouTube
According to this post on the official Google Adsense Blog the new Video units are now available to use. Everything reads great, however, it’s not there?
I have gone through all the Official Google press and tutorials and the Video Units are not showing up in the Adsense setup as advertised. So I guess it is [...]
Cooper: "Get This Bitch Off The Stage"
Anderson Cooper helped out The Daily Show last night, moderating the first ever "CNN Puppedential Debate." That's right, to pick the First Dog. What follows were an image of Tom Brokaw sniffing Sen. John McCain, a YouTube question about "who's a good boy," and Cooper demanding, "Get this bitch off the stage." Plus, a surprise ending. See the video below, and after the jump, check out Stewart's interview with new Meet the Press moderator, David Gregory: .cc_box a:hover .cc_home{background:url('

(Arkansas Business) Tireless Tolbert: Blogger Jason Tolbert is still hounding Attorney General Dustin McDaniel on his possible conflict of interest in gay adoption defense case, but sadly he doesn’t have six hours of accompanying video. Sarah Palin look-alike contest held at a Vegas strip club
Here are pictures from the Toronto Sun of a contest held a few months ago in a Las Vegas strip club. The prize was $10,000 and a trip to Washington for the presidential inauguration. Since I advocate a more cultural study of commercial sex, I like the way these pictures show culture, politics and humour mixing it up in businesses often thought of as being about one thing only: Sex. The guns make a nice social comment, too. Now here’s a video of the event from the Las Vegas Review Jo

1UP’s Game Night: Street Fighter 4 @ 5 p.m. PST tonight!
Just reminding folks that we do in fact talk about video games here on TYS from time to time. If you consider yourself a gamer, and played video games from the early 90’s onward, than you should at least know the name of Street Fighter II. In a few hours, 1UP.com will have their first game night of 2009, kicking things off with a live stream of the latest iteration of Capcom’s legendary fighting game, Street Fighter IV. I’ll be keeping my eyes glued to this one for the entire duration, so i
The Ugly Truth About Bodybuilding
After the video, come back to listen to me get nasty about the bodybuilding magazines that influence millions astray - I call them the muscle rags. Did I just hear you say, “But if it’s in print, then it must be true…right?” Sorry. Bodybuilding magazines are, perhaps, the most deceitful communication medium in the fitness industry. Although some attempt to print reliable training and dieting recommendations, with good intentions, most are just propaganda, lies, and fraud to protect their ve

A very professionally done video about Mac vs PC using the transformer concept. PC may have lost the fight but the war has just only began. Have you watch our previous Mac vs PC? Mac vs PC round 1 Mac vs PC round 2 Round 3 Fight between Mac and PC Final round between Bill Gates and Steve Jobs It is interesting to see them fighting but I will always stick with PC unless I have some extra pocket money or someone out there are willing to sponsor me a Mac to play around.

Start 2009 With An Attitude!!
And here it is: YOU CAN NOT FAIL! The whole key to anything that you do is to just keep trying. The people that fail, are the people who quit trying. Find what you want to do, and do it like there is no tomorrow! This is a very inspiring video. If this doesn’t make you feel like YOU can’t fail, better go to McDonald’s and get a job application.
Laugh at us
With the chaos of the holidays, I forgot to post this little video. We got a nice dump in Socal a few weeks back, all the local mountains got pounded, so we broke out and went to the best, mistiest, crustiest spot in the area, Mount Baldy. Maybe this little video turd should’ve just been flushed away, but since it brought such an amazing response from the CRUST BLOG, I figured other people who think blogs are lame and outdated should check it out here. At least you have another reason to tal
